# Turn off the ray indicator

> Do the rays from your hands distract you while working on your PC?

The hand/controller rays remain active while the menu is on, and they can be hidden by **turning off the menu in the hand menu**.

To control the menu more easily, hold your palm in front of you and **touch your thumb and index finger**, or press the **controller’s menu button**.
